Welcome to the Online Admission Portal of Assam Women's University

This Admission Portal serves as the official online platform for candidates seeking admission to BPT programme, various Postgraduate & Diploma programmes offered by the university enabling applicants to register, fill out application forms, upload necessary documents, pay application fees, and track their admission status. Admission into Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) & PGDCA programmes
(i) Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

Admission will be conducted based on the score of Common Entrance Examination (CEE) conducted by SSUHS as per the guidelines of Assam State Allied Healthcare Council.

However candidates willing to opt Assam Women's University for admission into BPT programme need to separately fill the Online Application through the following Apply Now button where they have to update their score of CEE after declaration of the result in the candidate portal. Further, Candidates are advised to visit https://awu.ac.in frequently.

(ii) Diploma Programme

Admission will be purely on merit basis, following the reservation system of the Government of Assam.

Application Fee: ₹ 600 + Service Charge (Non-refundable)
Last Date for submission of Online Application(s): 30th June 2026
No hard copy of application will be accepted.

    Admission into PG programmes

    PG programmes: Admission will be conducted based on AWUET-2026 examination. Details of the examination will be notified on the university website, and candidates are advised to visit https://awu.ac.in frequently.

    Date of Entrance Test of PG programmes: 12th July 2026 (Sunday)

      Admission into 5-Year Integrated PG programmes

      Candidates seeking admission into 5-Year Integrated Post Graduate programmes (FYIPGP) must apply through the Assam Higher Education Admission Portal.

      • • The Admission cum Counselling Form is available on the official portal.
      • • Candidates must register online to obtain Login ID and Password.
      • • Fill up the Admission cum Counselling Form and select Assam Women's University for the desired programme.

      Admission timeline for FYIPGP will be as per the notification issued by Director of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Assam from time to time.
