This Admission Portal serves as the official online platform for candidates seeking admission to BPT programme, various Postgraduate & Diploma programmes offered by the university enabling applicants to register, fill out application forms, upload necessary documents, pay application fees, and track their admission status. Applicants seeking admission into 2-Year Post-Graduate programmes (NEP-based) must apply through the Assam Higher Education Admission Portal for PG. Admission timeline for 2-Year NEP-based PG programme will be as per the notification issued by Director of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Assam from time to time.
Applicants seeking admission to the various 2-year Postgraduate (PG) programmes offered by Assam Women's University through CUET-PG 2026, AWUET-2026, or merit-based selection (applicable only to certain programmes) are required to submit their online application through the Samarth portal on or before 30th July 2026.
Note: Preference will be given to applicants who previously applied through the https://admission.awu.ac.in portal before considering fresh applications on the SAMARTH platform.
Applicants seeking admission into PGDCA must also apply through the Assam Higher Education Admission Portal for PG. Admission will be purely on merit-based selection, following the reservation system of the Government of Assam.
Admission will be conducted based on the score of Common Entrance Examination (CEE) conducted by SSUHS as per the guidelines of Assam State Allied Healthcare Council. However candidates willing to opt Assam Women's University for admission into BPT programme need to separately fill the Online Application through the following Apply Now button where they have to update their score of CEE after declaration of the result in the candidate portal. Further, Candidates are advised to visit https://awu.ac.in frequently.
